Private Fees

STANDARD OPERATING HOURS

Monday - Friday between 8:00am-6:00pm

£62.00 per day

Please note that we are unable to offer half days, this is due to our  settings routine and to support with any trips.

Our setting operates with a standard day rate pricing structure,  we do not offer an hourly rate childcare provision.

A standard day rate covers childcare between the hours of 8am-6pm. You are able to drop off or collect your child anytime within those hours, although the standard day rate still  applies.

*For more information download our 'Fee's Policy'.

EARLY BIRD DROP OFF

Monday - Friday between 7:30am-8:00am

extra £4.00

Early bird drop off covers childcare between the hours of 7:30am- 8:00am.

The £4.00 covers the cost of staffing and we provide every child that attends this early bird drop off with a  FREE breakfast.

Childcare hours between 7:30am-6pm would take the overall day rate to £66.00 (if you Opt In to Early Bird Drop Off).

*Early Bird Drop Off is an Opt In or Opt Out provision. It is pre-bookable 1 month in advance and subject to availability.

Government Funded Hours

We offer a stretched funding model to eligible families

The childminder acknowledges that your child may be eligible for government-funded hours.

  • Eligibility: The child’s eligibility for Government funding will be checked.
  • Funding Terms: The government funding will be applied  to the contract, subject to the relevant criteria being met and hours at the setting being available. Funding from September 2025 will be available for working families of children aged 9 months to 5 years, providing eligibility criteria is met. The setting will check eligibility with the local authority or other relevant bodies.
  • Parents Responsibility: it is a parents responsibility to check whether they are entitled to any Government Funded hours and to provide the setting with the required information. This includes renewing any funding codes and keeping the setting updated with any eligibility changes.

Our funding offer (Stretched):

We offer eligible families government funded hours (these funded hours are subject to setting availability and relevant parent eligibility). We offer a stretched funding model to support parents financially throughout the year (weeks that we as a setting are open). Parents are provided with monthly invoices to show how the funded hours (in our case days with our stretched model) are deducted from monthly invoices. Parents are kept well informed about the funding model on offer at the setting as well as a Fee’s Policy available.

Please note that Jess Rudge-Welford Childminding (Finn Academy) reserves the right to decide whether per term we continue offering government funded hours. This is not something as a setting we have to provide and is something we opt into per term in agreement with our local authority. Should there be any changes as to whether we choose to continue offering this service a calendar months notice would be provided ahead of the start of any new term.
