It started with the birth of a little boy called Finn. The desire to find the best childcare for him that offered an approach that was both educational and fun proved to be a challenge.
The lightbulb moment came when we believed we could combine our skills, knowledge and experience of working with young people and create a setting for Fin

The lightbulb moment came when we believed we could combine our skills, knowledge and experience of working with young people and create a setting for Finn and others to learn and grow.
This is where the idea of Finn Academy (Finest In Nurturing Next-Steps) was born.

Mummy to Finn!
When Finn was born, my world changed and I wanted to make a difference to the way children learn and see the world. This is when the desire to focus on Early Year's Development became clear.
Having worked with young people aged 0-25 for over 17 years in a variety of roles within sport, education and residential provision it
Mummy to Finn!
When Finn was born, my world changed and I wanted to make a difference to the way children learn and see the world. This is when the desire to focus on Early Year's Development became clear.
Having worked with young people aged 0-25 for over 17 years in a variety of roles within sport, education and residential provision it soon became time to leave behind my role as an Operations Manager of a Youth Charity and launch something new.
I further trained, achieved Ofsted Registration and started making strides in the Early Years Sector.
I soon became a qualified Forest School Practitioner, with my personal passion being the great outdoors.
Finn Academy started as a vision, we made it happen and now with support of others we continue to see Finn Academy grow from strength to strength.
